A horrified United Airlines passenger claimed her seatmate masturbated on a flight to New Jersey — and the crew forced her to sit back down next to him, ignoring her concerns, according to a report.The perverted encounter went down on a short flight from Rochester, New York to Newark on Sept.3, the woman, a 25-year-old pediatric crisis therapist, told NBC News.The passenger said the man sitting next to her started touching himself while staring at her during the 6 a.m.
flight.She moved away from the creep and reported him to the crew, who allowed her to stand for part of the trip, she said.But when it came time to land, she said she was told to sit back down next to the masturbator because there no were no other open seats.“On multiple instances, I said I feel uncomfortable doing that,” the woman told NBC.She claimed a flight attendant dismissed her concerns, saying she would only be seated next to the perv for a few more minutes while the plane landed.
The woman claimed United made matters worse once they landed, allegedly failing to alert the authorities or stop the man from leaving.She alleged one agent at the airport brushed her off, asking, “what am I supposed to do about it?” before saying it was her own responsibility to contact law enforcement.The woman later reported the incident to the Federal Aviation Administration, the FBI, and United Airlines.The passenger thinks it was not the man’s first mid-flight masturbation.“I just got the sense [he] had done it before … People don’t just do those things at 6 a.m.,” she said.United Airlines said it is probing the incident.“The safety of our customers and colleagues is our top priority.
We take these matters seriously and are looking into what happened.We have been in contact with the customer and apologized for her experience,” a United spokesperson said in a statement.
The FAA declined to comment.The FBI did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Post....
