Kyle Juszczyk claps back at NFL for absurd $15k fine for pretending to drink juice

Kyle Juszczyk’s chugging celebration is a staple for 49ers fans.Whenever Juszczyk gets the ball at Levi’s Stadium, he’s welcomed by “Juiiiicceee” chants from the home crowd.

The veteran fullback responded to the NFL’s $14,926 fine for the longtime chugging celebration — and he came with receipts.Juszczyk took to Instagram to prove he’s been doing the same celebration where he pretends to drink juice, not beer, as an ode to his nickname.

On Instagram Stories, Juszczyk made reference to a post he made from Sept.2, 2021, when he was photographed in the same stance and pose that he was fined for on Sunday against the Dolphins.Juszczyk’s intentions are clear.

The 35-year-old has established that the celebration is something he’s done for much of the 15 seasons he’s been in the league.Yet, this marks the first time Juszczyk has been fined for doing so.

“Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste,” the NFL wrote in its fine letter.Ironically, the NFL has several links to major beer companies, including Bud Light, the league’s official sponsor....
