Kaskade has spent the better part of three decades earning the kind of reputation that lets an artist do whatever he wants next, and on ORIGIN //, he takes full advantage.Released today via his own Arkade imprint, the album follows undux, which dropped in December 2025.
Where that record pulled inward with introspective house music, ORIGIN // moves in the opposite direction, assembling a cast of collaborators whose careers span entirely different corners of EDM culture, from techno and trance to dubstep and UK garage.ORIGIN // opens with ‘Stay For Love,’ where Brienna Grace’s vocals soar over synth-soaked progressive house production built around themes of longing and connection.
Elsewhere, ‘Dealing With It’ arrives as Kaskade’s only solo track on the album, its punchy low-end and rolling percussion turning heartbreak into forward motion.Kaskade ventures into dubstep territory for the first time alongside Crankdat on ‘A Little Bit,’ swinging the album into its heaviest corner.
Then ‘Runaway’ (with GLOCKENBACH and Kaitlin Aragon) arrives as one of the album’s standout moments, its synths swelling between brightness and melancholic depth while Aragon’s vocal carries the emotional weight through every build and drop.What follows showcases Kaskade’s instinct for contrast even further.
‘UV’ is a collaboration with EDM.com Class of 2026 artist Sarah de Warren, pulling the album toward darker terrain with a rabid techno track reminiscent of the driving intensity behind Kx5‘s ‘Avalanche.’ He teams up with beloved singer-songwriter Julia Church for the emotive ‘Blink’ before closing with ‘Hear Me Now,’ an explosive collaboration with Wooli and MAXINE.You can listen to ORIGIN // below and find it on streaming platforms here.
