Exclusive | Libbie Mugrabi reveals when shes leaving the Hamptons mansion she lost at auction and where shes going

Libbie Mugrabi is packing up her bags and planning to bag a very rich new spouse in the Sunshine State. Mugrabi has set Oct.1 as the move-out date from the Hamptons residence she lost at auction last month.

She’s relocating to South Florida to look for a new, and very rich, husband, she told The Post.Mugrabi’s comments, made from the mansion, are an about-face from last week, when she indicated she planned to stay put at the Bridgehampton property.But with the deadline for the sale to be completed nearing, if not already passed, Mugrabi said she doesn’t “want to be thrown out” — which she physically could be if she refuses to leave.The departure would end a two-year odyssey that took Mugrabi from ownership of a grand Bridgehampton estate to losing it at a riotous court-ordered auction on Southampton Town Hall’s steps for $5.86 million.Mugrabi got the 10,687-square-foot Hamptons mansion and its surrounding 6.8 acres as part of her 2020 divorce settlement from art patron David Mugrabi, whose billionaire family is said to have the largest collection of Andy Warhol works in the world.The subsequent dispute over the dwelling stems from Mugrabi admittedly paying nothing on a $3.5 million loan she took out against the home.

Her lender had battled her in a Suffolk County court to receive the proceeds back.Mugrabi said her priorities from here on out are getting more deeply into the art world and “interviewing (prospective) husbands who will take care of me.”She wants, “an older billionaire.

I’ve been going around with these young, hot models, but no more.”The way Mugrabi sees it, “A woman my age shouldn’t not be married.” Mugrabi, who is in her mid-40s, added her new spouse will have to understand, “I’m not going the way of Diana,” to whom Mugrabi has compared herself in terms of the princess’s claims the royal family tried to keep a tight rein on her by controlling how she dressed and generally presented herself.Mugrabi said arra...
