Hours before he’s set to take the stage at Portola Festival with Boys Noize for a rare performance, Skrillex texted fans a link to what appears to be a new Dog Blood album or mixtape.This afternoon, Skrillex sent a text out to fans with nothing more than the caption “” and a link to just under two minutes of snippets of new music.
Dog Blood are not-so-coincidentally headlining Portola Festival tonight.Not long after the text, Skrillex posted to his Instagram Stories and shared a screen recording with the text “dog blood id mega mix 2026” as the caption, confirming the music is indeed from him and Boys Noize.
Those who did not receive the link from Skrillex are in luck as a Reddit user uploaded a screen recording of the full teaser.There is plenty of acid-fueled electro and ferocious, distorted bass production, two signatures of the duo’s sound.
