This treat was a slam dunk.Jalen Brunson surprised the over 100 fans camping out in hopes of seeing him host “Saturday Night Live” with famous New York City cookies.Manhattan resident Jordana Judson braved the rain outside NBC’s Midtown studios Friday night in order to secure a spot inside the “SNL” studio to watch the New York Knicks champion host for the very first time Saturday night.Judson, a social content creator, was there for an hour when NBC pages came out holding boxes of chocolate chip cookies from the popular and pricey Manhattan brand Levain Bakery.“They were like, ‘Jalen Brunson wanted to drop off some cookies for you guys from Levain while he’s rehearsing,'” she told The Post.“It was really, really nice.
And I do believe that it actually came from him and his team and they were generous because I’m sure when he hears that people are sitting on the sidewalk, even with potential tickets, that’s a big deal.”The point god made sure that each fan was handed one cookie — that cost $5.75 at Levain, which has nine locations across the Big Apple.“They dropped it off to everyone starting with number one all the way up to … it went beyond 100,” she said.“They’re actually really good.I still have part of mine that I could not finish.”Judson’s friend, Alan Ormaza, posted a video of their experience on Instagram.Others in line commented on the significance of receiving the cookie from the new king of New York.“I still have my cookie,” one said.
