Chipotle is bringing back $6 margaritas but only in a few lucky cities

It’s five o’clock at Chipotle.The American fast-casual chain best known for its overflowing burritos and burrito bowls is bringing back an old fan favorite in celebration of spooky season — its famous margaritas.The beloved drink, which was a menu staple until the chain quietly discontinued it back in 2020, will be available once again for a limited time as part of the “Summon the Spirits” tour — a five-city pop-up event every weekend throughout October leading up to “Boorito,” Chipotle’s longstanding Halloween-day promotion.Meaning that dedicated fans who don’t live in one of the tour stop locales will have to travel to enjoy the long-awaited treat.The $6 marg includes just five ingredients — premium tequila, triple sec, citrus juice, agave nectar and a lime wedge.The drink will kick off its tour in Denver, Colorado — the city where Chipotle was founded in 1993 by Culinary Institute of America grad Steve Ells — on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 from 3 p.m.
