Explicit photos take center stage as trial of Scrubs producer Eric Weinberg begins

Sexually explicit photos from shoots where six women allege they were sexually assaulted were displayed in open court during explosive opening arguments in the long-awaited trial of “Scrubs” producer Eric Weinberg.The images show his accusers in various states of undress, posing provocatively and, in some cases, smiling for Weinberg’s camera.“You’re seeing what he’s seeing,” Weinberg’s high profile lead attorney, Phillip Cohen, told the jury.Weinberg, 66, invited the women to his palatial Los Feliz pad and photographed them between 2014-2019 in various parts of the home including the backyard, the pool and in his bedroom, according to testimony.One set of photos taken by Weinberg featuring a woman named Kyra in 2014 showed her smiling and looking relaxed just moments after she claims the producer allegedly sexually assaulted her.Prosecutors argued that Kyra is known to smile when she’s “nervous.”Another set showed Weinberger’s hand around the neck of a woman named “Johanna” who allegedly agreed to “tasteful nude photographs” on March 23, 2017.“At the beginning of the shoot there were no red flags” prosecutors said, but things changed when they moved into the upstairs hallway of the home. “Weinberg gets closer, he says he likes her breasts, and she notices a change in his eyes.They look like predator eyes,” said prosecutor Ariel Anson.“There’s not one indication that Weinberg knew of anyone’s fear,” Cohen said about the producer behind the lens.Anson also pointed to a set of photos taken in the backyard of a topless woman named Avian who will testify she was giving “micro-expressions” as she continued to pose half-naked after she was allegedly assaulted.“She was trying to signal to the camera that she’s not ok,” said Anson.“Does he know her micro expressions?” Cohen later fired back on behalf of his client.The defense went on to display a graphic picture of both Weinberg’s and an alleged victim’s han...
