Trump gushes over blue-collar flydubai hero who thwarted hijacking terrorist, says he can be my plumber

Not all heroes wear capes – and this one is ready to put on his new MAGA hat.President Trump gushed about Flydubai hero Yaniv Hayoun Saturday, and declared “he can be my plumber” after his cockpit heroics thwarted an attempted terror attack in the skies. The president released a video on his Truth Social account where he again praised Hayoun’s heroics, and proclaimed him a “Trump fan.”The taped message came after the Israeli plumber praised the president in the aftermath of the terrifying incident, where he helped subdue the radicalized Omani copilot who had stabbed the pilot in an effort to bring down a full passenger jet headed for Tel Aviv.“He’s an “Israeli plumber. And he’s a Trump fan and I’m a fan of his – a big fan,” Trump said.“He saved that flight yesterday.

He did an amazing job.”Hayoun said he learned information on how to stabilize the plane during its descent from the Smithsonian Channel’s Air Disasters program.“He’s my kind of guy.He can be my plumber.

He can be whatever he wants to be.What a job he did – he’s a hero,” the president added.Trump’s video – which was filmed in the Oval Office – contains clips from US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee’s meeting with Hayoun where he gifted the courageous Israeli a red MAGA hat signed by Trump.“Thank you for saving the lives of 170 people,” Huckabee told him in a clip he posted on X Friday.Hayoun, in his own taped comments with Huckabee, spoke about the “little miracles” that allowed him and other passengers to wrestle the controls from the crazed pilot.“Given how much you have done for our country, I felt that the public’s gratitude toward you and President Trump, who has done so much for us, was insufficient,” Hayoun said in Hebrew in the video. Then he thanked Trump and told him “how much we value and love you both for what you are doing for our country.”...
