Reggie was estranged from the family.The last time we saw him was in 2007.
We were aware that he was living in Tanzania but knew very little about his life there.”The State Department notified the family of Reggie’s death, but did not provide a cause of death, Bernice said.The family is waiting on details.

I would get on the train and get off at the last stop and walk around the neighborhood and meet people.When you do that, you learn things,” he said.He also described realizing a longtime dream of appearing on “The Late Show With David Letterman,” saying, “I had auditioned for his show 12 times.
I’ve been waiting a long time to get on his show.” He appeared on the show twice more: in 1998 and 2003.Television Pioneering BET host Angela Stribling has died.
