Michael Penix Jr.s wife reacts to Falcons win after pregnancy reveal

Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr.and his wife, Olivia, have a lot to celebrate.

Two days after announcing they’re expecting their first child together, Penix got his second straight win under center against the Saints after returning to the starting lineup from a major 2025 knee injury.“Hubby baby daddy,” Olivia wrote in an Instagram Story post, including a video of the quarterback doing his signature bow-and-arrow celebration in a victory post by the Falcons.Penix finished 15 of 20 for 223 yards and a touchdown in Atlanta’s 45-24 over New Orleans on Monday night.He returned last week for a 35-14 victory at Green Bay.Penix and Olivia hugged on the sideline before the game at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, as seen in video on her Instagram Story.

The pair announced in a joint Instagram post on Saturday that they’re expecting their first child in the spring of 2027.They shared an intimate maternity video of them dancing together and holding a sonogram photo.“Upgraded to mom and dad,” the caption read.

Penix and Olivia, a former women’s soccer player at the University of Nevada, were married on May 2 after getting engaged on Christmas Eve in 2024.She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in biology in May 2022.

The Falcons have looked more cohesive with Penix back in the lineup after he sustained a season-ending left ACL tear last November.Atlanta has now amassed 918 total yards and 80 points in two games with Penix compared to 524 yards and 16 points in Weeks 1-2 with Cooper Rush primarily under center, per NFL.com.The Falcons (2-2) host the Ravens (3-1) on Sunday night....
