Legendary LA Warner Bros. water tower gets makeover after $81B Skydance takeover

The iconic Warner Bros.water tower in Burbank has a new look following the completion of Paramount’s $81 billion megamerger with Warner Bros.
Discovery.The blockbuster deal officially closed Tuesday, with CEO David Ellison naming the combined media giant Skydance after the production company he founded in 2006.Shortly after the announcement, pictures surfaced showing workers adding the message “A Skydance Corporation” to the tower that has stood on the legendary Warner Bros.lot for nearly a century.The 133-foot water tower was built in 1927 and once had the capacity to hold 100,000 gallons of water.It was moved from its original location near the Warner Bros.
