Walker Kesslers Miss America fiance drops major news before Lakers season

Los Angeles Lakers center Walker Kessler had a busy offseason.For one, he signed a signed a four-year, $140 million contract with Los Angeles via a sign-and-trade with the Utah Jazz in July.He also got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Abbie Stockard (who was the Miss America 2025 winner) that same month.

While Kessler has been preparing for his first season with the Lakers, Stockard has been in Alabama, wrapping up a major chapter in her own life.Stockard noted this with an Instagram post on Tuesday that was captioned, “Today was my final day of class in nursing school!! From my first day 3 years ago, to my last day today, and all the days in between, I’m officially moved out of Auburn and starting my preceptorship!
