Game changer!A Montana softball player who met her long-lost sister when she faced her sibling on the field told The Post the chance encounter made her feel “complete.”“At first it was almost freaky, like I was looking at myself — our mannerisms and stuff,” Samantha Rensvold, 19, said Thursday.“And then it felt like part of me was complete.”Rensvold was playing in a softball tournament in Belgrade in August 2025 when a teammate noticed Kyann Dean, 18, on the opposing squad.“She could not ignore the resemblance,” Rensvold said.

“She knew Kyann was adopted, so it was an  awkward question in the dugout when she asked me if I was adopted — but I’m really glad she did.”After telling her mom about her look-alike, they checked the tournament roster and saw Dean’s name.Rensvold’s mom knew what her daughter’s sister was called and concluded that it was likely “not a coincidence,” the teen said.They later approached Dean at the tournament and the meeting was nerve-racking, she recalled.“I was obviously nervous at first,” Rensvold explained.“At first, it was just a hand shake because technically we were strangers and it was hard to navigate.

But then we met each others’ parents and it started to feel more comfortable, like family.”“We would sit together at the tournament and make each other laugh,” she said.Rensvold — who now exchanges daily text messages with Dean— said the relationship fills a missing piece of her family background.“Growing up, people would ask about my biological family and it was awkward to say, ‘I have a sister, but I don’t know anything about her’,” Rensvold said.“Now, it’s so refreshing to put a name and face to her.It feels like my biological family tree is complete,” she said, adding that her biological parents were 19 and 17 when she was born.The sisters, who did not take a DNA test, were adopted as babies by separate families in Great Falls — but grew up roughly 400 mil...
