Federal agents involved in NYC shooting that leaves one person wounded, NYPD says

A person was shot during an incident involving federal law enforcement agents in the Bronx on Thursday afternoon, according to the New York Police Department.The shooting occurred around 4 p.m.in the Marble Hill neighborhood of the Bronx, the NYPD said in a post on X.
The person who was shot was taken to a nearby hospital and was conscious and receiving medical attention.The NYPD said its officers were not involved in the incident and were not at the scene when the shooting occurred.
