Giants already giving J.J. McCarthy an A-plus in one area

“You look back seven days ago … he’s much further along, which is, again, a credit to our position coaches.These guys are spending a lot of time with J.J.
and with Jake just in case.“At the same point in time, J.J.is spending a lot of time trying to learn everything.
So that part has been great.Proud of him, but this is just the beginning.”The Giants had a specialized package of plays available for McCarthy last game, but it was not used.“You work towards what you think his strengths are,” Nagy said.
“Even in a short week, we were really starting to get a good feel for that.You start with minimal plays.
