(MLW)Major League Wrestling (MLW) star Donovan Dijak was a part of that event. He said in a recent interview that Banger Zone Wrestling called him to see if he was interested in performing at the event.
He said when he initially saw it on social media, he thought it was the "craziest thing" he’d ever seen. When Dijak learned the company was going to put on another show, he had to be there and made it work despite having a booking at Progress Wrestling. He said he didn’t want to be on his "deathbed" thinking about the time he had passed on doing something as interesting as Watermania."As I was watching the show and watching them put together the ring, I was like this is surreal, so much so that like just as a fan I started recording clips and the viral clip that everybody saw of the ring kind of tilting and coming back up was me," he told OutKick Dropkick.
"I recorded that just as a fan, and then 20 minutes later I was wrestling in the ring, which I'm going to be honest, I'm always honest, did not feel safe because it was sopping wet.Thankfully, again, like we just talked about, when you get an opportunity like that, take advantage of the uniqueness of the scenario."Dijak said he only really wanted to perform moves into the water and maybe a headlock in the ring, "which is exactly what you saw."A look at the Banger Zone Wrestling ring in a pool in France on Aug.
