Mau P Launches New Label, Baddest Behaviour Records

In the four years since breaking out with his inescapable dance anthem ‘Drugs From Amsterdam,’ Mau P has released tracks on John Summit’s Experts Only, Chris Lake’s Black Book and Solomun’s Diynamic, among other artist-led imprints. He has now started a record label of his own, using the venture to give a platform to the many artists who have sent him demos over the years.
The label, Baddest Behaviour Records, stems from the Dutch house music superstar’s live show concept of the same name.It has grown into a global event brand through a DJ residency at Pacha Ibiza and sold-out shows in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles and other major cities.
Back in January, Mau P revealed plans to launch the label alongside a debut album and clothing line, though details on those projects have not yet been announced.Announcing the label online, Mau P said it’s a way to finally answer and support producers who have been sending him tracks that he never had the means to release.
He tied the launch to his own career, which he said was shaped by established DJs who gave him exposure when he needed it most.“It’s to support all the people that have been sending me music for years now that I’ve never been able to give a platform in the same way that some amazing, really nice DJs have given me a platform and opportunities,” he said.
“So this one’s for the culture, for the scene.” Follow Mau P: X: x.com/realmaupInstagram: instagram.com/maupmusicTikTok: tiktok.com/@maupFacebook: facebook.com/maupmusicSpotify: tinyurl.com/2u3y625v...
