How MMATH Has Become a Top Networking Hub During the Amsterdam Dance Event

Ask anyone who has worked ADE week and they will tell you the most important conversations start after the panels end, in a hotel lobby or at the end of the bar with a warm coffee in hand.Meet Me At The Hotel has been producing moments like that at the Room Mate Aitana since 2022, and its fifth anniversary edition in October brings the largest program the organization has ever assembled.

The first edition of MMATH hosted 400 guests, and by 2025 the daily count had passed 1,500.More than 7,000 people have now passed through, and every one of them is there for business.

When asked why the same faces keep returning, MMATH founder and COO Bjorn Wilbrink points to the “convenient, warm, efficient and diverse” atmosphere his team has been actively fostering for half a decade. The Oscar Room, a 132-square-meter stage overlooking the marina, has also became one of the week’s most talked-about spaces along the way.

“MMATH is the environment where I think everybody feels at home,” Wilbrink tells EDM.com.“The Room Mate Aitana and MMATH makes the perfect combination of that coming home feeling and having everything you need under one roof.

From the restaurant to meeting spots, panels, music studios and industry mixers, it all happens at MMATH.” They have also built that reputation through curated events with compelling partners. Our friends at We Rave You and Bootshaus staged various high-profile DJ performances while 1001Tracklists teamed with r/hood for industry networking events and shows of their own.

A slew of beloved dance labels have also joined the MMATH fun.Hardwell’s storied Revealed Recordings has staged showcases while San Holo’s bitbird has hosted networking sessions and open DJ decks.
