Federal agents seize phone of Rep. Ilhan Omar in raid tied to immigration fraud probe

Federal authorities seized a cell phone belonging to Rep.Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., during a Monday raid on her Washington, D.C., home as part of a criminal fraud investigation into her immigration paperwork.Omar's immigration history is facing renewed scrutiny, with investigators issuing more than a dozen subpoenas to her family members following the raid on her residence.Investigators are examining whether Omar's family lied about her age when she immigrated to the United States in 1995.

Omar became a naturalized U.S.citizen in 2000.
