Alesso has released ‘Fight for Love,’ a new collaboration with powerhouse vocalist Kaitlin Aragon.A dramatic violin arrangement opens the track and never leaves, weaving as a recurring thread beneath Alesso’s driving progressive house foundation.
Meanwhile, Aragon’s gut-wrenching vocals bloom alongside the Swedish EDM superstar’s expansive production. The track had been circulating as an anticipated ID ahead of its release, played out at Alesso’s sets at Ultra Japan and EDC Colombia.
To celebrate, he took the stage last night on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building in New York City, a setting as cinematic as the track itself, and became the first DJ to perform and host a takeover event at the landmark.Aragon is no stranger to high-profile dance music collaborations, having lent her vocals to Kaskade’s ‘Runaway’ on his recently released ORIGIN// album and to HAVEN’s re-release of the viral ‘I Run.’ ‘Fight for Love’ follows the release of Alesso’s The One EP on Tomorrowland Music and his collaboration with OneRepublic on ‘In Your Eyes.’ Fresh off his first-ever US headline tour, he has upcoming performances at EDC’s festival in Orlando and Mexico before closing out the year at Decadence Colorado and Countdown NYE.
