A State of Trance is turning its Los Angeles return into an ambitious multi-day festival.Armin van Buuren‘s trance institution has announced they will partner with Insomniac for a two-day takeover of Ace*Mission in June 2027.
Billed as ASOT’s first multi-day, multi-stage festival in North America, the event will feature three stages, onsite afterparties and a dedicated hotel experience.ASOT previously touched down at LA’s Banc of California Stadium in April 2022 for a single-night celebration of its 1,000-episode milestone.
The 2027 edition expands the format, giving the brand a standalone festival weekend built around a bigger program.Armin van Buuren had outlined his ambitions in a March interview, saying he wanted the U.S.
event “to be a home for the trance fans.” According to Insomniac’s announcement, he and the company’s founder and CEO, Pasquale Rotella, have spent years developing the concept.The festival is scheduled for June 11-12, 2027.
Across th event’s three stages, it is said to encompass classic and uplifting trance, psytrance and melodic techno.No artists were named in the initial announcement.
Ticket pre-registration is open through ASOT’s website.Presale begins Thursday, October 22nd at 10am PT, followed by the general sale at 11am.
