Giants cut Najee Harris after complaining about role

John Harbaugh delivered another big shakeup at running back on Tuesday..The Giants released Najee Harris, just two days after Harbaugh benched Cam Skattebo and Harris appeared to be in line for the starting role. Harris was the first running back in the game but he received just four carries for 2 yards in the Giants’ 34-27 loss to the Saints. After the game, Harris bizarrely complained about his role, telling reporters that he needed more reps to get into the flow of a game.“It’s hard to get into a rhythm with one or two runs,” Harris told reporters. With Harris off the roster, the Giants are left with Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and Devin Singletary in their backfield.“Nobody has really taken the bull by the horns,” Harbaugh explained after the loss.More to come on this breaking news story....
