Antisemitic vandal admits to spraypainting swastikas on gravestones at Jewish cemetery

A hateful vandal admitted to spraypainting swastikas onto 12 gravestones at a Jewish cemetery in Baltimore more than three years ago, federal prosecutors announced Tuesday.George Horn, 36, of Dundalk, pleaded guilty to hate crime and vandalism charges for damaging the gravestones at Ohr Knesseth Israel Anshe Sfard Cemetery in July 2023, officials said.

Horn had a translated copy of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” on his phone and antisemitic paraphernalia in his car and storage unit, prosecutors said.He was caught by police with a nine-second video spraypainting two gravestones, leading to his conviction.Horn faces up to three years behind bars for damage to religious property.His sentencing is set for Jan.
