When is the Sports Equinox 2026? What is it, schedule, how to watch every game
The professional sports stars have aligned. It’s the only night of the year where you can watch every major professional sports league in action at the same time.
Fire up your second screens now, because we see lots of sports in your future. The Sports Equinox is any time that the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL all have games happening at the same time.
This is rare because often, the MLB season is wrapping up as the NBA and NHL seasons get going in the fall, and the NFL isn’t playing when the MLB season starts up and the NBA and NHL seasons wind down in the spring.Today’s instance is extra special, too; the WNBA is also in action tonight as the Finals reach Game 5.
MNF, the World Series, WNBA finals… it doesn’t get much better than this. The 2026 Sports Equinox is today, October 26.
Check out the full schedule below. We broke everything down for you by time and channel below, but the easiest way to watch as many sports as possible tonight is by using DIRECTV; specifically, we recommend subscribing to the Choice plan with a five-day free trial. That one subscription will unlock every channel you need for the Sports Equinox (including local channels for Rangers and Kings fans looking to watch their team).
In addition to the national games listed above, the NHL has two additional games and the NBA has eight. We’ve put those below with info on where to stream them.
