Subtronics and GRiZ Add Third Day, Early Camping for 'GRIZTRONICS at The Gorge'

GRiZ and Subtronics have announced that ‘GRIZTRONICS at The Gorge’ will return for Memorial Day Weekend 2027, expanding from two days to three after a sold-out debut this spring.Produced by Live Nation and hosted May 23-24, the festival’s scintillating debut grew out of the duo’s beloved 2019 dubstep track, ‘Griztronics.’ The lineup included GRiZ’s ‘Chasing the Golden Hour’ set, a headlining performance from Subtronics and the first official b2b set the two have played together.

The weekend, however, was not without frustration.Attendees reported long delays getting into the campgrounds, a problem they largely attributed to the event’s operations rather than to the artists or their teams.

While details remain scarce at this time, much of the announced overhaul appears aimed at those complaints.Subtronics recently opened up about his blossoming foray into festival production, noting he’s been “enjoying dipping my toes and slowly scaling up all our curated events as we gain experience.” He’s implementing that approach ahead of his return to the Gorge with GRiZ, himself one of the electronic music scene’s most esteemed event organizers.

Subtronics and GRiZ said ‘GRIZTRONICS’ organizers will open more lanes and put additional staff on camping arrivals in 2027.They will also add Wednesday camping so fans can reach the grounds before the crowds peak.

A Thursday pre-party will give early arrivals something to do while the rest of the festival fills in.Meanwhile, the Gorge is bringing on extra security staff to ease movement through the amphitheater and its surrounding grounds.

Neither GRiZ nor Subtronics has revealed a lineup at the time of writing. You can watch their announcement below and register for ticketing updates here.
