How Stitches fared on World Series bet and final season tally

Somewhere, Bob Uecker just cracked open a Brew. The Brewers won their first-ever World Series. They x-ed out the Rays in five games.
Cooper Pratt, who would have been the hero in Game 4 after hitting a 12th-inning go-ahead homer, drove in two runs and the Brewers built a 4-0 lead. That lead may as well have been 15-0 because Jacob Misiorowski was torching Tampa.
And then, Misiorowski left. And so did I.
Jacob had to leave the game in the sixth inning due to cramping.I headed to the bathroom with stomach cramps, but the Brewers bullpen held and they won Game 5 by a score of 4-1.A bittersweet ending for Stitches.
On a night when we won +550 robinyounts, we still fell short of our goal of finishing in the black for the season.Final count: -961 dannyfrisellas.
Proper hugs, goodbyes and thank-yous tomorrow. The one and only Stitches has been handicapping baseball, daily, for the Post since 2019.Miraculously, he has finished in the black twice.
But wait there’s more.He showed his versatility by winning the Post’s NFL Best Bet crown last year....
