Detroit Lions star Jack Campbell rushed to hospital after tackle leaves him motionless on field

Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after a tackle left the standout defender facedown and motionless on the Ford Field turf. The serious injury cast a pall on Detroit locker room as players cut short their celebration of a dramatic 19-15 victory over division rivals the Minnesota Vikings.Coach Dan Campbell, who is not related to the star linebacker, had been jubilantly shouting out his players before shifting the postgame address to their injured teammate.“I do not have any more information on Jack,” he told players.
“We don’t know anything else at this point. So here’s what I want to do: We’re going to take a knee, I want to pray for Jack.
Let’s keep him in our thoughts and prayers.” On the first play of the fourth quarter, Vikings QB Kyler Murray connected with T.J.Hockenson for a 10-yard gain with Campbell and teammate Eric O’Neill bringing down the Minnesota tight end in what appeared to be a routine tackle. For SubscribersFOR SUBSCRIBERSNetwork of independent AI evaluators aims to boost public insight into AI giantsFOR SUBSCRIBERSThe fight for young men comes to MichiganFOR SUBSCRIBERS‘A genuine toss-up’: Senate battle comes down to red states and Republican votersFOR SUBSCRIBERSEnergy drinks linked to higher risk of cardiac arrest in young adults, study findsFOR SUBSCRIBERSTrump holds final rally of a 28-stop midterm blitz FOR SUBSCRIBERSSome crewmembers on the evacuated cruise ship say they’re waiting without pay in CambodiaFOR SUBSCRIBERSTwo executives tried to build their dream of a never-ending cruise.
