Jerry Jones defiant about not paying up for Cowboys coaches: Put that in your hopper and smoke it

Jerry Jones is calling hogwash on the notion that there is a connection between how much you pay a coach and winning, which his Cowboys have not done a lot of this season. But the ever-defiant owner and general manager pushed back on any correlation between the two ideas during a radio interview on Tuesday morning when asked about the very topic, as fans sour on head coach Brian Schottenheimer.“In the NFL – this is after years of looking at all the teams and all the coaches – there is no, there is zero correlation between how much you pay a coach or how many coaches you have as to winning,” Jones claimed while appearing on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas.“There is no correlation, and that’s a random sample of years and all 32 teams involved.
