Girl, 2, falls to death from 5th floor NYC apartment window in tragic accident

A 2-year-old Bronx girl fell to her death from a fifth-floor apartment window in what appears to be a tragic accident late Tuesday, cops and sources said. The toddler plunged from the window on the top floor of the building on East 138th Street near St.Ann’s Avenue in Mott Haven around 10:45 p.m., police said. She landed in an alleyway and was rushed unconscious to Harlem Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The tot apparently took the fall after pushing aside the divider between the window and the air conditioner, the sources said.Her mother was in another room when her young daughter fell, and ultimately called 911.No criminality is suspected in the deadly fall, cops said....
