Never miss a story So, who is Robert Garcia?You can make the argument he is a Democrat from central casting.Garcia went to California public schools.He later became a teacher, a legislative aide, a city council member, mayor of Long Beach, and then a congressman. In his adult life, he has no significant private sector experience, except for founding an unremarkable news website before running for public office.In other words, Garcia’s entire adult life has been at the expense of the taxpayer.Not surprisingly, as mayor of Long Beach, Garcia pushed for free tuition at Long Beach City College and universal preschool education.
