JD Vances temporary crash pad near Mar-a-Lago asks $110K per month

Republicans feeling the chill of a blue wave can seek sunny shelter at Vice President JD Vance‘s temporary Mar-a-Lago crash pad. It’s one of President Trump’s guest houses that is now on the market as a $110,000-a-month rental, or $1.32 million for the year, Gimme Shelter has learned. The charming home had previously been listed asking $122,500 a month or $1.47 million a year.Built in 1974, the ranch house is owned by President Trump’s family business, the Trump Organization. It is adjacent to Mar-a-Lago, otherwise known as the Winter White House.
“It has been utilized as one of the President’s guest houses and has been frequented by top administration officials, members and friends of the first family,” a source said. It’s also one of only seven homes that are currently listed for $100,000-a-month or more on Palm Beach Island, according to the Palm Beach Board of Realtors’ MLS. The four-bedroom, four-bath home is where Vance and his family spent some time, albeit briefly, during the transition before President Trump’s second term began.Atlas, the Vance family’s dog, was often spotted running along the beach at the time, sources said. And for those who aren’t members of Mar-a-Lago but would like to be, renting the home — at 124 Woodbridge Road — comes with a secret perk: access to the club, “dependent upon club approval and discretion,” a source said. After Trump bought Mar-a-Lago in 1985 for $10 million — including furnishings and a separate deal for beach access — he converted it into a club in 1993.
At the time, Trump gifted fellow homeowners on Woodbridge Road club membership in exchange for their support in a unique deal. The 4,072-square-foot, renovated residence comes furnished.Design details include mahogany and marble floors throughout.
There’s also a formal dining room, a living room and a home office. Outside the backyard features a pool and a fence with a gate.Open the gate, and you step into Mar-a-Lago.
