Steph Curry consoles heartbroken son after Game 6 loss to Rockets

Steph Curry wasn’t the only member of his family to take the Warriors’ Game 6 home loss to the Rockets on Friday night.After the defeat, which forced a Game 7 on Sunday in Houston, Curry approached his 6-year-old son Canon, who was sitting in the stands with Curry’s wife, Ayesha.But Canon ignored his father and turned and hugged his mother, instead, as Curry attempted to console his son.Curry’s mother, Sonya, sitting nearby, smiled when she witnessed the family interaction. The loss was Golden State’s second straight in the series, as the Warriors went from potentially winning in five games to having their season on the line — on the road — Sunday.Curry scored 29 points in Friday’s loss, as the four-time NBA champion looks to make another extended postseason run. Curry insisted they were confident heading towards the must-win game, telling reporters after Friday’s defeat: “We’re packing for a week.Getting on this plane to go to Texas and, hopefully, [going] to Minnesota right after.”The winner of Sunday’s game will play the Timberwolves in the next round....
