Former President Joe Biden posted a smiling selfie early Monday as he sent thanks for the support he’s had since revealing his battle with “aggressive” prostate cancer.“Cancer touches us all,” the 82-year-old wrote on social media along with a photo of him sitting beside his wife, Jill Biden, and their cat.“Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places,” he added.“Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.”His remarks came a day after it was revealed he had been diagnosed Friday after doctors found a “small nodule” on his prostate during a medical exam earlier this month.The cancer, which had since spread to the bone, had been graded a Gleason score of 9, his spokesman said — suggesting his form was among the most aggressive.Biden’s team disclosed that the diagnosis had come after the former commander-in-chief started having urinary symptoms.“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” his office said.“The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”...
