Suspects, 14 and 16, charged in stabbing of another teen in Bronx subway: cops

Two young teens were arrested for assault after allegedly stabbing a man on a Bronx subway early Saturday, police said.The 19-year-old victim was knifed once in the hip after getting into an argument with three others on a northbound 6 train around 3:30 a.m.

as it pulled into the St.Lawrence subway station in Soundview, authorities said.It’s unclear what the group was arguing about.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition, police said. A boy, 14, and girl, 16, were both charged with second-degree assault Saturday afternoon, according to cops.An 18-year-old boy with the two younger teens at the time of the attack remains in police custody, but had not been charged. It remains unclear which of the perps whipped out the knife.
