Prince Harry has ongoing tension with deeply hurt Prince William, Kate Middleton: insiders

While Prince Harry may be inching toward a reconciliation with his estranged father King Charles, the same can’t be said for his relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Duke of Sussex, 41, last week met up for peace talks with the monarch, 76, during his fleeting four-day visit to the UK.After the duke offered rare insight into the meeting, hopes of both camps burying the hatchet were kicked into high gear.Still, it appears as though the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as Queen Camilla, are not looking to put the past behind them just yet.“There is still ongoing tension with William and Kate,” a source told Us Weekly.“They are deeply hurt by the public disclosures, memoir revelations and interviews and criticisms of their roles, which they perceive as breaches of trust that require significant time to heal from, which is why they aren’t there yet.”According to palace insiders, the “Spare” author’s reunion with Charles was “super positive and very relaxed.”Still, the duke notably didn’t meet up with his estranged brother and sister-in-law during his brief time on home soil, underscoring that tensions remain between the feuding camps.“There has also been no direct communication between aides like there has been with Charles,” the insider went on.

“William and Kate haven’t initiated or responded to outreach from Harry at all. They do need more time.”“There’s emotional distance between the three of them,” the source said of Harry, William and the princess.

“There are lingering resentments of past conflicts, including Harry’s comments about Kate in his book.It left William guarded and needing more time to process before a face-to-face with Harry,” they added.
