Wild video shows Texas airport worker lose control of fuel hose, spewing highly flammable liquid all over

Wild video shows a Texas airport worker losing control of a refuelling hose, causing a chaotic spill of the highly flammable liquid around a plane on the tarmac, according to footage and authorities. The disastrous spill occurred on Saturday while the staffer refuelling an American Eagle aircraft parked at a gate in Terminal E of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, American Airlines confirmed in a statement to The Post.Video posted to social media captured a ground worker appearing to lose their grip on the refuelling hose, causing jet fuel to uncontrollably spray out of the nozzle as the hose viciously snaked underneath the aircraft. The worker appeared to walk away from the scene as large pools of the flammable fuel began to form. The airport’s spill containment infrastructure captured the spill, and the surface was cleaned, a spokesperson for Dallas-Fort Worth Airport told The Post. The exact amount of fuel spilled is not yet clear.
“We are looking into the incident with DFW Airport and the airport’s fueling contractor, Menzies, and worked together on the cleanup per procedure,” American Airlines said.Menzies did not respond to a request for comment by the time of publication....
