6 teens wounded in NYC mass shooting at Sweet 16 bash, 2 gunmen on the loose

Six teenagers were wounded in a mass shooting at a Brooklyn “Sweet 16” birthday bash early Sunday morning – with a pair of gunmen still on the loose, according to police.Cops responded to Burbuja Events catering hall at 2929 Atlantic Avenue in Cypress Hills on a 911 call shortly after 1:15 a.m., where they found the victims with gunshot wounds, police said.At the scene, they found three 15-year-olds, a girl with wounds to the chest, hip and leg, another girl wounded in the right leg, and a boy shot in the left arm.Also wounded were a 16-year-old boy shot in the right arm, another 16-year-old boy hit in the left foot, and a 17-year-old male with a wound to the right thigh.In a statement Sunday, catering hall management said the shooting took place outside the venue after the party broke up.“Burbuja Events hosted a Sweet Sixteen celebration that concluded at approximately 1:00 am,” the catering hall said.“Approximately 20 minutes after the event ended, a tragic incident occurred outside of our event.“Our management is fully cooperating with authorities and remains in active communication with the NYPD 75th Precinct and Brooklyn North Night Watch,” they said.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by this incident and hope for the swift recovery and safety of all involved.”Four of the victims were taken to Brookdale Hospital, and the other two to Kings County.All six victims were listed in stable condition, with police looking for the shooters, cops said.Footage from the scene obtained by The Post shows EMS transporting the victims to the hospitals while crime scene cops secure the area outside the “Champagne Lounge” at the event space....
