Mom of two found dead after wandering into freezer of Miami Dollar Tree

A mother of two and accomplished anesthesiologist was found dead inside the walk-in freezer of a Dollar Tree store in Florida, according to authorities and reports.Police officers responded to the Dollar Tree in Miami around 8 a.m.

after an employee reported seeing a dead woman inside the store, the Miami Police Department told The Post.Helen Massiell Garah Sanchez, 32, was identified as the woman authorities discovered inside the Dollar Tree’s walk-in freezer inside the stock room, cops said.The employee also told cops that Sanchez was found naked, according to dispatcher audio obtained by CBS Miami.

“Complainant found a naked female in the cooler of the store,” the dispatchers said over police scanners, per the outlet.No foul play has been suspected, and surveillance footage hasn’t raised any alarm bells.

But Sanchez’s death remains under investigation, police added.The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear,Sanchez was a doctor in Nicaragua who was “abroad” when the “tragic accident occurred,” according to a GoFundMe.She “dedicated her life to medicine, earning recognition as a Anesthesiologist specializing in congenital heart disease,” the fundraiser said.Her “work brought hope and healing to countless children and families.Her compassion, skill, and commitment to saving young lives defined both her career and her character,” according to the fundraiser to bring her remains back to Nicaragua for funeral services.

Sanchez is also the mother of two children, who remain in Nicaragua and were “the center of her world,” the fundraiser added.“I got to be honest with you, I’m totally devastated,” a concerned resident Margarita Puig told CBS Miami.“I can’t believe in the Dollar Tree you’d find a dead body,” Puig added.
