Tiffany Haddish gives Girls Trip 2 update: Studio dragging their feet

Tiffany Haddish is nobody’s fool.The actress, 46, always knew that both the viewers and her former co-stars wanted a sequel to the 2017 comedy “Girls Trip.”Starring alongside Regina Hall, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith, the movie follows four best friends as they rekindle their wild side.Now, nine years later, a “Girls Trip 2” is in the works.“We’ve been having a group chat for years.
We’ve been trying to get the movie made for years.We’re on top of it,” Haddish exclusively told The Post at Steven Tyler’s 7th annual Jam for Janie on Sunday.
“We’ve always been a cohesive unit.It’s the studio dragging their feet.” As for who the comic would want to see join the powerhouse women in a second film, she noted: “Meryl Streep.”“I want to work with her,” Haddish said.
