Minnesota vs. Oregon prediction: College basketball picks, best bets Tuesday

With only a few weeks remaining in college basketball’s regular season, the betting market has a firm grasp of each team’s power rating. That makes it that much more difficult to find betting value, as opposed to earlier in the season with a less mature market. However, the opportunities do exist. We seem to have that with Oregon hosting Minnesota on Tuesday as a 1.5-point favorite with a total of 134.5 points. The Ducks have been a giant disappointment this season, with a 2-12 Big Ten mark.

Injuries have played a role, but this was headed for a disappointing season even at full strength. However, Oregon just got its best player, Nate Bittle, back from injury and is coming off a convincing win over Penn State.Jackson Shelstad remains out, but the Ducks have shown some signs of life. The Gophers are a tough team to handicap.
