Where Stefon Diggs could draw free agency interest after Patriots split

Could Stefon Diggs be catching passes from one of the league’s emerging stars next year? With the Patriots expected to release Diggs at the start of the new league year next week after just one season with the team, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler highlighted potential free agency options for the Pro Bowler in the Giants and Titans, serving as a veteran target for a rising star, a la his run with quarterback Drake Maye.“At age 32, Diggs will not be a top-of-market receiving option and might need to wait for the second wave of free agency,” Fowler reported Wednesday.“But his game held up well as a 1,000-yard receiver in 2025.
