Kanye Wests gutted former Malibu mansion is foreclosed, goes up for auction

Kanye West’s once dream $57 million dollar mansion is set to be auctioned off in front of a fountain in Pomona, California, this week.The beach front home, which was the center of a court battle last week, is in foreclosure and will be up for grabs on Thursday, the Post has learned.The house will be auctioned behind the fountain in Civic Center Plaza in Pomona, said a letter sent to investors according to the Wall Street Journal.The letter went on to say the loan’s balance was nearly $21.1 million.It’s just the latest saga surrounding the architecturally celebrated home designed by famed architect Tadao Ando.Kanye bought the home in 2021 with a vision of creating a minimalistic bunker. He ordered handyman Tony Saxon to strip the home of all wiring and plumbing. He took out two fire pits and a jacuzzi.
