Jimmy Kimmel Nails Trump With Damning Damage-Control Supercut Video

LOADINGERROR LOADINGJimmy Kimmel said President Donald Trump “really stepped in it” with his days of attacks on Pope Leo XIV.Trump hasn’t been happy with the pontiff’s calls for peace amid the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran.

But the pope continues to speak out, as he did again on Thursday.Advertisement “Blessed are the peacemakers,” Pope Leo said.

“And woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth...the world is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants.” Although the pontiff didn’t mention anyone by name, to Kimmel, it was fairly obvious.

“I wonder who he was talking about there,” Kimmel said.But Trump now seems to be doing some damage control.“He had to do a lot of tap-dancing when the press got hold of him today,” Kimmel said, then aired a supercut video of the president’s comments.
