Horror as man and toddler killed in massive hit-and-run crash in Playa Del Rey

A violent crash left a male passenger and a toddler dead, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the California Post.The incident occurred early Sunday morning when a vehicle traveling southbound on Vista Del Mar in Playa Del Rey crossed into the northbound lanes, triggering a two-vehicle collision.Authorities said the cause of the lane crossover remains under investigation, and no further details were immediately available.The crash happened around 4:30 a.m.in the 6800 block of Vista Del Mar near Culver Boulevard.

Responding officers pronounced the front-seat passenger dead at the scene.A 28-year-old Hispanic male, a juvenile, and a toddler were transported to a nearby hospital.The toddler was later pronounced dead.The extend of injuries for the survivors is not known.
