The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a 911 call at Avery’s home in Hollywood Hills about criminal threats being made at around 10 a.m.on Tuesday, TMZ reported.The caller claimed that Avery’s neighbor had been harassing and threatening his contractors during the home renovation project.However, police found no indication of threats and no report was taken, according to TMZ.

Officers were called back to the home at around 5 p.m.after receiving a call about shots being fired.Avery and his wife, model Hilary Rhoda, were not home during the incident, according to the outlet.

Avery noted that he was away “on set” filming an upcoming project when the shooting happened.It’s unclear if the couple’s 5-year-old son, Nash, was home.Avery’s neighbor was arrested at around 6:15 p.m., TMZ reported, citing the LAPD.
