Shocked witness who watched fatal beating of Trump House owner break silence on insane attack

A witness who watched the brutal attack on the owner of Escondido’s “Trump House” revealed how the deadly confrontation unfolded — claiming the accused killer yelled for the victim to come outside before allegedly beating him to death.Anthony Cabrera told NBC San Diego that he had been speaking with victim Kerry Sheron, 69, when they heard a loud banging on Sheron’s front door coming from suspect Thomas Butler, 32, on May 20.Butler then yelled for Sheron to come outside and called him a gay slur, according to Cabrera. When Sheron asked him to leave, Butler called the homeowner “hater” and accused him of calling people “vulgar names,” the witness recalled.A doorbell camera captured Butler punching Sheron to the ground before kicking him twice in the head, NBC San Diego reported.Cabrera described the attack as “so fast it’s kind of insane.”The witness said he tried to break things up when Butler “looked at me and said, ‘you’re going to die’ then started coming at me,” Cabrera recalled, saying he struck Butler and caused him to run off.By that time, Sheron was coughing up blood and unresponsive.“He was out cold he was snorting up blood I had him put on his side so he could breathe properly,” Cabrera said.He called 911 and waited with Sheron until paramedics arrived.
