Young man plunges to his death from scenic California cliff overlooking nude beach

A young man took a tragic plunge from a scenic California cliff overlooking a nude beach in Santa Cruz County early Saturday morning.The victim, described as being in his early 20s, fell from the cliff near Bonny Doon Beach and landed halfway down, according to Cal Fire.Firefighters used a rope system to recover the man’s body.It’s unclear how the man fell or what he was doing at the time.Photos showed the massive response from authorities, including support for the Cal Fire’s San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit, the Santa Cruz Fire Department, California State Parks, the Santa Cruz Police Department, and the Southwest Division of the U.S.
