Grammy-Winning Singer Talay Riley, Who Co-Wrote With Tisto and Martin Garrix, Fatally Stabbed at 35

Talay Riley, a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter who worked with Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Dua Lipa, Britney Spears and many other contemporary music stars, has died after being stabbed in East London.Ad 0:00 Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers responding to an emergency call on June 5th found Riley, born Mark Orabiyi, in the garden of a residential property in the Silvertown district.
The 35-year-old artist was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.Three people were arrested on suspicion of murder, according to the London Evening Standard.
A 27-year-old man was released on bail pending further inquiries while a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were released with no further action taken.“This is a tragic incident and my thoughts remain with Mark’s family and loved ones,” said Metropolitan Police Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke, who is leading the investigation.
“Our investigation continues at pace.I would like to appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident to speak to police.
We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who might have CCTV or other footage from the morning of the incident that could assist our investigation.” Riley co-write and featured onTiësto and KSHMR’s 2017 single ‘Harder’ and co-wrote ‘Like I Do,’ the 2018 collaboration between David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Brooks.His broader catalog included records for Britney Spears, Usher, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Iggy Azalea, Nick Jonas and more.
