Over a Year After Its Ultra Debut, Gryffin and Julia Church's 'Spin Me Slowly' Is Finally Out

Gryffin and Julia Church have released ‘Spin Me Slowly,’ a euphoric collaboration that had been highly anticipated since they both debuted it at the 2025 Ultra Music Festival in Miami.Ad 0:00 Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 It’s the second time Church and Gryffin have teamed up following their work on Alok’s ‘Never Letting Go’ in 2024, and the two clearly have a natural feel for each other’s strengths.

“Thank you to Julia for being the best, she’s one of the most talented and kind people I’ve ever worked with,” Gryffin said on his social media.“She absolutely crushed this song, a contender for my favorite Gryffin song of all time… I do not say that lightly.” ‘Spin Me Slowly’ opens with a slow-burning melodic progression before Church’s unmistakable, magnetic voice pulls focus with her trademark intimacy: “Took your hand and pulled you in / Saw the way your eyes lit / Knew you kind’ve liked it / I don’t want to do it again.” Gryffin’s production surges from there, his lush synths swelling through blissed-out drum & bass drops before a haunting coda brings the arrangement home.

The new single landed on the official soundtrack for Xbox Game Studios’ Forza Horizon 6, which was released last month.Gryffin cited the racing game as the reason behind the long wait, noting that its developers selected it last year when it was still unreleased.

It also arrives the same week he kicks off his retrospective concert series, ‘Ten Years of Music. One Night,’ opening with a pair of hometown shows in the Bay Area before heading to Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre later this year.
